Private Security & SPD Patrols

Through a contract with Iron & Oak, property owners within the MID invest in over 800 hours per week of private security downtown in addition to funding dedicated overtime bike patrols with the Seattle Police Department. These safety services help ensure a greater security presence downtown for residents, workers, and visitors. Iron & Oak officers walk alongside MID ambassadors so they can safely perform their duties. They also patrol streets and parks within the MID and provide support during DSA/MID events.
